I am a huge fan of recycling everyday objects into art, and Nina Boesch does an amazing job at working with discarded Metrocards. She takes the limited color palette provided by the cards to make some great works of art by cutting and creating a collage of the cards.

Here is a really cool video of Vermillion Editions in Texas doing their thing printing up some editions

If you are anywhere near the upstate/ central NY region, you should def check out East Shore skatepark! It is an awesome park with a cool vibe, and the owner Shane is a super cool guy, and talented artist as well.
Check out this Graffiti event that they are having the 29th of January. They whited out the walls of the park and are putting up some new pieces, so come check it out!!!
I am a big fan of cool GoPro camera videos and exploring crazy stuff, although I am not a big fan of heights, and there is now way you would ever see me doing this. Check out these wild kids from somewhere in Russia maybe? that climb this crazy tall bridge with just their regular clothes on and no climbing equipment.
They also have a blog with a bunch of really amazing photos from all over their city. CHECK IT OUT HERE
Mutiny has edits that are usually like 5 steps ahead of everyone as far as quality go, and this one is no different. I have seen a few people play with the rc helicopters, but nothing has turned out anywhere close to as good as this.

I am going to be in a group photo show this Sunday in Astoria, Queens. It is being put on by the EMERGING ARTISTS CONNECT. I will have a few shots up, along with a bunch of other photographers. There is also live music so it should be a good time!

Me and Brett made it down to Bold Hype on Thursday to check out Nathan Spoor’s new show “Phantom Passport”. The work was awesome, and there was a bit of sculpture work in the back room of the gallery as well.
All pics by Brett!

This blue in this immediately caught your eye as soon as you stepped in the gallery.

This Hello Kitty Fetus was my favorite from the sculpture exhibit in the back room.
If you have picked up a BMX mag lately chances are you have seen FEDERAL‘S new ad campaign with awesome paintings of their team riders, along with a very layered, street art look featuring layers of torn posters over one another. They have really stepped their game up lately, and its the first time I have been stoked on the brand since kids in South Jersey were riding their dual wishbone frames.
DEFGRIP has a really cool feature up on the artist who did the portraits for the series. The UK based artist name is ROBERT SAMPLE and he has a lot of cool stuff on his portfolio site as well. There is a cool video that shows his process and some of his other work. Check it out RIGHT HERE

Jason Black has some cool shots that you can check out on his facebook RIGHT HERE The one below is of the goon squad out cruising in portland.

Shooting a gun while shooting a picture is probably pretty hard to do, but this came out awesome.
