So here is a map with the most rat ridden spots in NYC, and it looks like good old Bushwick is right at the top. I know for a fact I have seen some large sized wild life in and around Post Bike Shop. Check screenshot above of the map, and you can see more on GOTHAMIST about the roughly 1,000rat sightings in Bushwick lately.
Check out this beast that was slayed by a housing worker in the Marcy Houses in near by Bed-Sty. He measured in at around three feet and supplied Chinese restaurants in the area with plenty of meat!
So there is a big mall going into bushwick soon right off of the Morgan L stop. As you can imagine many local residents and business owners are opposed to this idea, as it would increase rents in the area and take away shoppers from small businesses that currently inhabit the area.
Locals have come up with the idea to make the mall small business only. Similar to “The Loom” which currently exists in the area on Flushing and Knickerbocker

Brooklyn based artist and old school BMX collector RYAN HUMPHREY will be having a piece in the REBULL CURATES show going down tomorrow (thursday) in Brooklyn, NY.

A fifth floor apartment in Crown Heights’ Weeksville Projects was home to menagerie of animals up until a couple of days ago, when the animals were discovered. The apartment was home to two alligators, tarantulas, 3 pit bulls, a boa constrictor, pythons, a scorpion, gecko, and more.
When the neighbors in the building were asked about the animals the response was, “There’s urine and feces in the hallway and nine times out of ten, it was them,” SEEN ON DNA INFO

There is going to be a showing of the new KILLJOY video in Brooklyn this weekend. Yoda is making this one happen and it should be good. The video looks OD! Warm weather and all the BMX events still going on would make you forget that it is almost Christmas.
