WILDIN ON THE ISLAND
Here is the video from last weekend’s WILDIN ON THE ISLAND jam at 5050 Skatepark on Staten Island.
The jam was a great time, and we tried to show everyone how much fun it was through this. Check it out, and enjoy!
Big thank you to all of our sponsors who kicked us down soem awesoem product to give out to everyone.
The jam was so much fun that we are going to extend the ONLINE STORE SALE that we had at the jam to everyone that watches the vid!

RAT CAPITAL – BUSHWICK!

So here is a map with the most rat ridden spots in NYC, and it looks like good old Bushwick is right at the top. I know for a fact I have seen some large sized wild life in and around Post Bike Shop. Check screenshot above of the map, and you can see more on GOTHAMIST about the roughly 1,000rat sightings in Bushwick lately.

Check out this beast that was slayed by a housing worker in the Marcy Houses in near by Bed-Sty. He measured in at around three feet and supplied Chinese restaurants in the area with plenty of meat!
THE BACK OF THE BUSK
My friend Nick is involved in this new series of web videos called “The Back of Th Busk” they feature NYC’s many street performers and give you some insight into them.
Check out this one featuring Human Beatboxer DaiChi
AM:PM
The am:pm premiere went down the other night and it was awesome! There were cool lil short videos from practice bmx and dah streets to get things rolling, followed by am:pm 3.
The video was really good with tons of people including Oba, Joey piazza, Ralph bury, frank macchio, and a ton of other people. Def need a copy of this one!
Afterwards we rode over to the tender trap and preceded to party into the early morning.
METROCARD ART

I am a huge fan of recycling everyday objects into art, and Nina Boesch does an amazing job at working with discarded Metrocards. She takes the limited color palette provided by the cards to make some great works of art by cutting and creating a collage of the cards.

CHET INVADES NYC

We The People shredder and team rider Chester Blacksmith finally made it out to NYC to come kick it with me and live it up for a few days. He has been living up to the name of his signature frame “Sleepless” as we have been out experiencing all the city has to offer at all hours. This week has been a wild one for sure, to get some of Chet’s insight on the trip visit the WETHEPEOPLE site.
See you back here soon homie!
