The crew from POST BIKE SHOP and YOUR INN packed into Troy’s Mystery Machine for the trip up to Binghamton for FBM‘s Crazy jam at HCS Skatepark. Of course we left super late, but once we were on the road it was all good times.
We met with Greg Henry and his FUTANG CLAN up at the park, and had a big ol circle goin! Here are some stickers he blessed us with.
Goya put a lot of stickers on a lot of different things.
Member of the newly formed Merritt crew Scott McMenamin beat us up there in his car and kicked it with us all weekend as well, no sign of the Pon Digga though
Here’s a video from two awesome people, and a decent lil skatepark out in Portland. Codie will be out here next week in NYC on a WTP trip learning about rats and the dumplings made from them.
I saw this edit of some dudes trek to ride the infamous Glory Hole over on DEFGRIP. This looks like an awesome trip to a wild spot in the middle of nowhere, and you should def check it out.
They also have some great photos of the trip and the rest of the Bay Area scene at FULL FRAME COLLECTIVE
Ruben Alcantata has always been one to search out crazy spots to ride, and this video shows him doing just that. Watch as him and his friend go out in search of a giant bowl that is in a tiny town.
This weekend, we made it up to the Mike Tag Cancer Benefit Jam in Ithaca, NY at EAST SHORE SKATEPARK. Me Brett and Austin the Pon Digga packed 3 bikes, 3 people, and a bunch of random stuff into a Mini Cooper and hit the road.
This car was packed to the brim with people, bikes, shit talking, and good times. Brett and Pon Digga up front, with me lurking the back seat.
Big Thanks to John Lee, Steve Crandall, Kelly Baker, and the rest of the FBM crew, as well as all the Richmond dudes, upstate locals, and anyone else we chilled with over the weekend.
No thanks to Cancer, flat tires, and the dandy market by bakers acres!
I am going to go through all the photos I shot and get something up soon. Until then peep the FBM website as well as LEAST MOST for some pics of the jam.
The online store should be back up and functioning by tomorrow, look for some new shirts as well, and some other items coming at the end of this week.
Also new parts and clothes from ANIMAL coming in too!
Check us out at the MIKE TAG jam this weekend at EAST SHORE SKATEPARK we will hopefully be making it up in an overstuffed cargo van. Just follow your nose and your will knows whats really good! I will have all the new stuff as well as some stickers and might bring some bike pieces up too!
We are hopefully going to make it up to the Mike Tag Benefit Jam next weekend at East Shore Skatepark, right outside of Ithaca, NY. Any FBM event is usually a good time, and this one will be no different.
If you can’t make it up to the jam, you can still donate money via paypal RIGHT HERE
Scott McMenamin is out west right now filming a little something for We The People. Expect to see a banging new vid from his trip soon! Also check out the new WTP video “anytime now” that he put in mad work on! The pic above is of him and Nelson chilling at Mullaly Skatepark.
I have been super busy since I got back from Texas. I moved to a new place, and haven’t had much time to go through my pics from the trip. Now that I am settled in, I am starting to finally look at what I shot. Here are to pics of Akin Francis aka X who is the best host you can have no matter where he is living.
X was cruising around in his Pedi-Cab during SXSW and made bank doing it! Dude went hard and put in mad hours on that thing carting people all over the city.
He still managed to get in a few runs at 9th St. Trails at the end of the week. Even with being beat from carting fat people around Austin for a week, he cranked a few turndowns for the camera
It’s 1:30 in the morning and I just put this edit together. I haven’t watched it really, so it could suck. But here is some of the footage I collected with the GoPro when we were packed deep into Black Rob’s van on our excursion to Philly.
The crew on this trip was Brendan Vail (myself), Black Rob Deveaux, Franky Navarro, Oba Stanley, Hayston Sheppard, AK Santiago, Ditto Vega, and Albert Hunt.
There are a bunch of really cool pics of the jam in Philly over on DIG. Check out a bunch of cool Black and White photos that Rob Dolecki shot at the jam. Here are a few of them below.
Check out this guy’s shirt! He is boostin that big ass quarter in the YOUR INN/FIGUREHEAD shirt!
Black Rob Deveaux is one of the wildest riders around. He went hard at FDR like he always does and ended up with some meaty paws. This picture of him is great! REBEL SQUAD!
He also managed to figure out how to fit way too many bikes and people into his mini-van and drove all the way down and back!!!!
This man right here is Adam “Schnell” Schnellenbach, he is responsible for putting together the event and it was a great time! He plans on doing it again next year as well, so look forward to another awesome jam for a good cause!
I am back in New York, and about to move into a new place next week hopefully. Here is a shot of me waiting for the airport bus on my way out of town. Expect to see a lot of new stuff in the next few weeks.
