Watch this video that FBM put together from their post apocolympics jam at HCS park.
We got there late as all hell but still had a great time and got to ride the park solo the next day.
There is a sick new bikepark opening in Syracuse NY that is going to be competing with Rays in Ohio. This place is only a 4 to 5 hour drive from NYC and is looking insane! Here is some video of Pablo Nunez and Matt Schilling riding what is built up so far. Check out more about the park on CRANX.COM
Here is the first of 2 or 3 parts of the road trip that me and elvis took this weekend. We decided to bring Pablo along so he could do tricks for all 3 of us. Check out our session at the Binghamton Cement Park.
Me Elvis and Pablo went up to Syracuse this weekend to chill with my friend Matt and ride the new park that he is helping build. This place is going to be seriously insane, check it out. RIGHT HERE
If you are anywhere near the upstate/ central NY region, you should def check out East Shore skatepark! It is an awesome park with a cool vibe, and the owner Shane is a super cool guy, and talented artist as well.
Check out this Graffiti event that they are having the 29th of January. They whited out the walls of the park and are putting up some new pieces, so come check it out!!!
Here are some more pics from our trip upstate. Some of from the comp and some are from chilling.
Stew Johnson won the giant size 66 Vans sneaker that was in the $20 Raffle. People probably wanted this more than any other prize that was up for grabs.
Alot of the FBM crew from past and present were at the jam to help out Mike Tag. Here is a pic of what a bunch of hangovers look like at the trails!
The Pon Digga was out tryin to relive 2000. J Finagle can’t find a straddle cable! This genius had the great idea of putting 3 bikes and 3 people inside of a mini cooper instead of using the bike rack.
Rob Dolecki was shredding at Bakers with Digglestein. He was killing all the lines there no problem.
The day after the jam we went out to Bakers Acres, which are Kelly Baker’s personal trails out on a huge piece of property that he owns. The place is amazing, just tons of woods and a HUGE area with a lot of different lines to ride, even a huge curved wall, and a bunch of other cool shit. We chilled for a little bit and I shot a couple of pics, more to come tomorrow.
FBM had a really fun jam last weekend up at East Shore Skatepark. A ton of people came out to raise money for Mike Tag who was recently diagnosed with cancer. There were raffles all day, food, beverages, riding, and fun all over! They ended up raising over $3,ooo during the day which will go to medical bills.
This weekend, we made it up to the Mike Tag Cancer Benefit Jam in Ithaca, NY at EAST SHORE SKATEPARK. Me Brett and Austin the Pon Digga packed 3 bikes, 3 people, and a bunch of random stuff into a Mini Cooper and hit the road.
This car was packed to the brim with people, bikes, shit talking, and good times. Brett and Pon Digga up front, with me lurking the back seat.
Big Thanks to John Lee, Steve Crandall, Kelly Baker, and the rest of the FBM crew, as well as all the Richmond dudes, upstate locals, and anyone else we chilled with over the weekend.
No thanks to Cancer, flat tires, and the dandy market by bakers acres!
I am going to go through all the photos I shot and get something up soon. Until then peep the FBM website as well as LEAST MOST for some pics of the jam.
We are hopefully going to make it up to the Mike Tag Benefit Jam next weekend at East Shore Skatepark, right outside of Ithaca, NY. Any FBM event is usually a good time, and this one will be no different.
If you can’t make it up to the jam, you can still donate money via paypal RIGHT HERE
Gilly reps YOUR INN up in Highland Falls, NY. He comes down to Drop In to shred the park pretty regularly. Here are a couple of pics of him from a few weeks ago at the park.
Me and Brett went up to East Shore this weekend with Pon Digga, Mr. Nick, and Nasty Nils. It was a real experience, especially for everyone meeting Nasty who turned into Donkey Kong and started throwing barrels at plumbers, especially when he got his 4lok’s.
4LOKO OASIS IN UPSTATE NY! HAD THE CRAZY SUPPLY LEFT OF LOK’S
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches were the food of the day, thanks to anyone who bought some toasty melted goodness, or a tshirt! I bumped off melts all day and had enough money for Cracker Barrel pancakes the next day in Binghamton!!!!
I don’t think I have anymore pics from the trip which seems odd, but the whole weekend was. Any time going to an FBM event is always super fun if you haven’t been to one you are really missing out on the realest BMX shit around.
